Munia El Harti is Counsel at IUS + AEQUITAS in international arbitration and cross-border litigation. She is a member of the New York and Brussels (B list) bars. She advises clients in complex disputes, particularly in the energy, construction and post-M&A sectors under - inter alia - the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, AAA ICDR, ASA rules. With a varied jurisdictional and multicultural experience, she acts in proceedings in Spanish, English and French, with a wide field of intervention in the Americas, Europe and the MENA region. She also has experience in the enforcement of arbitration awards and foreign judgments in the federal courts of the United States. Munia is actively involved in international arbitration Thougth Leadership, holding executive roles in several professional associations. She is Vice President of the French Chapter of the Club Español e Iberoamericano de Arbitraje and Secretary General of Francarbi. She is an Associate Professor of the Master of Environmental Law at the Complutense University since 2017 and at the Arbanza School of Arbitration in the Specialized Course on International Arbitration. She frequently publishes in specialized editorials such as Oxford University Press, Wolters Kluwer and Forbes. She is also an arbitrator in the list of international arbitrators of the Latin American Center for Arbitration and Mediation (LATCAM).
