With 27 years of experience in the legal field, Jesús Giner joined Ius+Aequitas Trial Lawyers as a partner in 2026. A specialist in private property law, he has a solid track record in managing highly complex litigation and arbitration cases, both in court and before arbitration tribunals.
Throughout his career, he has practiced at some of Europe’s leading law firms, including Uría Menéndez, Linklaters, Lener, and Broseta.
His practice focuses on corporate disputes and conflicts arising from M&A transactions, financial and distribution contracts, joint ventures, construction and infrastructure projects, and contracts in the energy sector, with a particular focus on matters with an international component, where he has extensive experience in coordinating multi-jurisdictional litigation.
He has appeared in proceedings before courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court, as well as in arbitration proceedings, where he acts both as counsel and as an arbitrator. He also advises companies during the pre-litigation phase, assisting them in defining strategies for the prevention and management of business disputes.
In the field of arbitration, he is a permanent arbitrator at the Civil and Commercial Arbitration Court (CIMA) and has served as an arbitrator at several other arbitration institutions, including the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the European Arbitration Association, and the Arbitration Court of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Navigation.
He combines his professional practice with university teaching. He has taught Civil Law at the University of Alcalá and currently teaches courses on private law and arbitration at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid and at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is also a regular speaker at professional and academic forums and the author of numerous articles and chapters in specialized books.
