Alicia Agüero is Of Counsel in Ius+Aequitas's Civil, Commercial Litigation and Collective Actions Department. She has a solid academic, research and institutional background in Private Law, with particular focus on Consumer Law, banking and financial contracts, investor protection and alternative dispute resolution.

 

Throughout her career, she has developed a recognized specialization in matters relating to standard contract terms, unfair contract clauses, complex financial products, digital contracting and consumer protection. Her deep knowledge of these areas allows her to bring a highly specialized perspective to complex litigation and collective actions.

 

She is also highly active academically and institutionally. She is a Tenured Professor of Civil Law and Head of the Civil Law Department at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Chair of the Consumer Arbitration Boards of the Community of Madrid, and Chair of the Sole-Member Consumer Arbitration Bodies of the Castilla-La Mancha Consumer Arbitration Board. Her expertise combines academic rigor with extensive participation in leading national and international specialized forums.
